Simply put, Chinelas are shoes for adventurous soles. In looking to elevate their brand and appearance, we essentially started from scratch to give them a complete visual overhaul. Our work together includes (re)naming, story and about content, visual identity, brand introduction guide, look book, new website with online store, as well as various other collateral like cards and shirts.
Their market and offering is primarily aimed at women, but also includes men and children secondarily. The bright color palette is inspired from the bright colors often associated with Latin culture. After all, the name Chinelas was inspired by their founder’s personal experiences having grown up in Argentina.
The circular type around the right side of the name is referencing the shape of a postmark you’d see on an envelope or postcard.
Takeaway cards listing upcoming shows are available to grab at shows and are also included with online orders. Various shoes are printed the backsides along with a reminder to visit their website for a complete listing.
